Patient and meticulous, Sophie counts her English upbringing and her artistic passions as her biggest influences. “At University I studied country houses in England and the history behind their design,” she says. “I continue to draw inspiration from those historical periods by combining classical details and proportions with color, pattern and contemporary pieces.” An avid potter and ceramicist, she’s equally inspired by “the intricacy of patterns, the tactility of texture, and the richness of color.”
