Director of Architecture

Michael Waechter, AIA, RIBA, NCARB is Director of Architecture at Soucie Horner Design Collective, where he blends technical expertise with a refined design sensibility to elevate interior architectural design on projects throughout the country. Licensed in eight states, he is a member of the American Institute of Architects, a Chartered Member of the Royal Institute of British Architects, and NCARB-certified. With a background that spans military service, carpentry, and nearly three decades in architecture – including his own practice, Waechter Architects – Michael brings a uniquely comprehensive perspective to projects of all types, scales, and complexities. He holds a Master of Architecture degree as well as a Bachelor of Arts with Honors in Architecture.
